Forcing fluids out
Digging sense in
A queer reflection
Of the unconscious
A wordless complain
A pointless keen
So, my friend, which is also a psychology major, posted a picture of a screenshot of her facebook conversation with her cousin on our group. It goes like this:
"oh hey what’s your course?"
"psychology" , she replied
"oh okay okay."
"well that’s easy. Mine’s BS Civil Engineering"
Of course, we got pissed, but only for a moment. Then i felt sad about her. I pity her. Probably, any other psychologist or psychology major will feel the same way as I did because that’s the most common effect of the course to us. Anyway, this is what I told my friend to tell her. I don’t know. I’m posting this because I want all people to know this thing and not just the flawed friend’s cousin. I’m sorry if this makes you upset but I’m just a teenager defending the course she decided to take. Here it goes:
You think your course is superior than others. This is also relevant on how think about yourself. You would like to think you’re greater than other people. You’re frustrated and struggling. Are you deprived from control at home? Does your opinion about everything matter to the people around you? Yes, your course involves a lot of math, which is a lot of people afraid at but lemme tell you something. Numbers can kill nobody, people with unhealthy state of mind can. Good thing there is a form of education that’ll make people learn how to handle flawed people like you. It’s okay to think that you’re great because it’s a display of positivity. You found greatness and you feel good and proud with your really technical course. I know exactly how you feel, honey. I mean like for me, and all these people with the same course and career as I do, there’d be nothing that’ll be ever greater than being able to heal people, physically, mentally, and emotionally. Don’t worry, someday, when I’m already way better than I am today, we’ll be having a talk. Ps, talking about talk, you should try observing people when you talk. Like be keen on the littlest things. Believe me, it’s a tip.

you wasted time reading this shit
Drive me away to make me stay
Embrace my flaws, don’t make me fray
My mind’s as twisted as your hair
Please don’t fall out, please play fair
I’m so willing to call you baby even in public places 🍫👶

i spend my free time watching and rewatching movies and tv series, writing a song that won’t make sense so eventually it’d rather become a poem, and expressing my love for good photography although i’m not a photographer but a rather frustrated one over instagram. mom and dad must be really proud of me ‘cause i don’t go crashin any parties and get drunk and high and eventually pregnant.
